More Torah Poetry

Fan of limericks?
Here’s a blog of Torah rhymes
By Rabbi Joe Black

Rabbi Joe Black is the Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanuel in Denver. He is also a poet and musician,  well known to fans of Jewish music as well as long time members of Temple Chai.    Larry Kaufman recently told me about the Torah limericks that Rabbi Black has been posting on Facebook, and today Rabbi Black posted the first entry at his new Torah Limerick blog.

Here’s my attempt at a limerick about Rabbi Black’s blog.   A little more challenging than haiku.

There is this one rabbi in Denver
Who sometimes plays tunes that are klezmer
Now to his bag of tricks
He adds Torah limericks
They’re funny, and really quite clever

So check out Rabbi Black’s blog, I think you’ll find it entertaining and enlightening. Many of the links above will lead you there. If you really can’t figure out which, then just click here.

C’mon … DO IT ALREADY!
