A plague in Egypt
Pharoah says, “Okay Moses
Your people can go”

The plague is lifted
Pharoah says, “I’ve changed my mind”
Then, another plague

Will Pharoah wise up?
Or continue flip-flopping?
We’ll find out next week

The bush is burning
But is not being consumed
A sign for Moses

G-d says, “Hi, it’s Me
I’m gonna rescue the Jews
They’ve suffered enough

Go tell old Pharoah
I’ve got a message for him
Let my people go”

He was a dreamer
And could divine dreams’ meanings
With some Divine help

Genesis 41:16
And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying: ‘It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace”

Blood, frogs, lice, wild beasts
Then cattle disease. Boils, too!
The plagues have begun

But Pharaoh’s stubborn
At first of his own accord
Then with “help” from G-d

More plagues are coming
You can guess where this will lead
Freedom imminent

Jacob’s family
Seventy people in all
Settled in Goshen

Joseph and father
Reunited in Egypt
Pharaoh welcomed them

Pharaoh has a dream
Cows and grain, both strong and weak
Meaning eldues him

Joseph gets the call
He seems to be an expert
Dream interpreter

So he tells Pharoah
“Dream foretells feast and famine”
It’s what G-d will do

Moses: I’m nervous
G-d: Don’t worry about it
Aaron will be there

You’ll be like a god
To the Pharaoh of Egypt
Aaron, your prophet

Now a new Pharaoh
Who did not know of Joseph
Came to rule Egypt

He told the midwives
“There are too many Jews here,
Kill their newborn boys”

Shifra-Puah

Shifra and Puah
Feared G-d and defied Pharaoh
So the Jews survived
