Not a true Haiku

  • That’s certainly right

    But I’m just having some fun

    Hope I don’t offend

      haiku’s “proper” form
      like that of “proper” English
      changes with the times

      poetic license
      haiku imagination
      word-worlds come alive

      swirling syllables
      conjuring images is
      haiku happiness

      haiku is freedom
      within certain tight constraints
      just like life itself
